The painting “Parus major” was created on a traditionally made oak panel, which was covered with a thin and smooth chalk-glue gesso. The imprimatura covering the gesso consists of black pigment and linseed oil. I painted the picture using the technique of layered and glazing painting, which allows for the greatest control, depth, and quality. I use only the highest quality paints and painting media. The painting is coated with varnish.
