Death and the Maiden

It is a painting depicting a cat named Paput, who is feasting on a richly set table.

The table displays plates with clams, fish, blueberry cake, bread, and fruit.

The depiction of the cat adds a personal touch to the composition.

Technique: oil on board with the use of old masters’ technology based on the highest quality materials. The canvas was handmade by the author of the painting.

Award: 1st place awarded by the Wojciech Weiss Museum Foundation at the 6th Winter Salon of Young Artists from the Academy at the Zofia Weiss Gallery on January 30th, 2023.
